Taking Flight - Friendly Plastic

I really am suffering with Spring Fever... as you can see I'm also dreaming of brightly colored Butterflies.
Using my Fracture and Fusion technique, I simply cut out the wing shapes and then glued them into place on a filigree butterfly base. I did have to reshaped two of my little cutters to fit the shape of the filigree butterfly wings, but with the thin metal that the cutter are made with, the reshaping process was easy. So if you don't have a cutter the shape you need, get out your pliers and reshape one you have. With this in mind... there are kits that you can buy that give you the materials to custom make your own cutters. So, there you go ... a little more spring inspiration and another fab product to look into.

Also... I want to help get your creative juices flowing with anticipation for our first monthly Art of Friendly Plastic Challenge.
On March 1st the challenge theme and challenge requirements will be announced. These challenges will not be for the faint of heart, they are going to take love, dedication, experimentation, and crazy creativity. Thats all you get for now. Just consider yourselves fore warned. I will be adding little bits of creative inspiration each day as the challenge draws near, just to help light the creative fires in each of you. All challenge information will be posted on March 1st.
