Friendly Plastic Quick Tip - Keeping Friendly Plastic from sticking to tools

This is a quick tip that I learned from Jana Ewy. It's one of those basic things...sometimes so basic that you don't even realize just how important it is.

How to keep Friendly Plastic from sticking to your tools and on everything else.

Keep cutters in a bowl of ice water with a couple of drops of olive oil. After each cut, dip cutter into cold water. The combination of the cold water and oil prevents the Friendly Plastic from sticking to your tools.

I also find that a light coating of baby oil applied to your hands and your work surface helps to prevent the plastic from sticking to your hands and allows you to move it around on your worksurface should you need to.
