When I saw this handmade card, I was instantly reminded of a story that happened in our family recently. With the internet and computers being so widely used in our school systems today, our kids are losing out on the art of letter writing. I think it's a shame. I encourage my girls to make their own cards and write their Grandma's hand written letters. I don't want it to be a lost art!

What a beautiful cardmaking idea Mylene Hillam has shared with us! In her tutorial today, Mylene shows us how to create embellishments with Friendly Plastic. As we know, Friendly Plastic is quite commonly used in jewelry making. This project shows us how versatile Friendly Plastic can be in our cardmaking and paper craft projects as well.
