One of the fascinating aspects of Friendly Plastic and one of the reasons why I believe this plastic material is so captivating and fun to work with is it's ability to be combined with other mediums such as Art Clay Silver to produce some gorgeous mixed media jewelry.
A few years ago, my friend Jen Lowe visited my studio. She had just come from the Art Clay Silver Conference and was teaching techniques on how to combine Dichroic glass with Art Clay Silver. We both wondered if we could adapt this idea to work with Friendly Plastic.

If you think that Friendly Plastic is just kids play, think again! Follow our Friendly Plastic adventure starting with Day 2 - the actual first day we played -click here
We had loads of fun and did a little site-seeing too! The time went by too fast, but check out what fun pieces we made!
Of course you don't have to make your own bezels, check out the bezels from Nunn Designs and Amate Studios. They are reasonable and work really well with Friendly Plastic.
I hope this gives you lots and lots of ideas!
