Karine is a well known on the Friendly Plastic blog for her ability to combine multiple mediums into gorgeous pieces of art jewelry. I am personally drawn to her whimsical wired designs. I love the flow of the wire and how it makes my eyes dance around her piece.
Today, Karine takes us on another journey - one that I had never thought of though I work with Aleene's Tacky Glue alot! My friends Tiffany Windsor and Heidi Borchers of Cool2Craft often show techniques on how to create a metallic look on brown paper bags and other vintage techniques from their mother Aleene. Never in a million years would I have thought it would make such awesome textures and designs on Friendly Plastic.
Karine lives in France and so this video has french subtitles, however Karine does a good job of showing you just how she achieves this wonderful metallic stamped metal effect.
Let's show Karine some creative love - here is some of her other features on the Friendly Plastic blog. Be sure to leave her a comment and also visit her web page at Bijouxartcreation.com
